EQUIPING IDAHO'S PREMIER CHIDLHOOD CANCER CAMP WITH CUTTING EDGE AIR AND WATER FILTRATION
ABOUT CAMP RAINBOW GOLD
Camp Rainbow Gold is a childhood oncology camp that began in the mid-80's. It has grown over the years and now includes sibling camp and family camp. Trevor's Trek co-founder and Executive Director Trevor Schaefer attended camp as a teen and this is what he had to say: "As a child recently diagnosed with cancer I felt very isolated and was fearful of being around others. I had a significant limp when I walked, a hard time keeping my balance and I was bald and pale and just looked sick so I was extremely nervous about going to camp and being around other kids. But when I got to camp my embarrassment and nervousness just melted away. All the other kids were facing similar challenges as me and for the first time in a long time I felt like I fit in. A lot of the volunteers were childhood oncology doctors and nurses, there was a med shack where kids could get their medicine and see doctors if need be and counselors in every cabin, it felt like a normal camp. We did arts and crafts, archery, horseback riding and social events. I will always cherish the memories I have from camp and am so glad we can now support an organization that gives so much to so many children facing the biggest battle of their life."

CAMP RAINBOW GOLD'S NEW HOME
Several years ago CRG acquired Camp Hidden Paradise and have been hard at work making sure it is perfectly accessible to all of their campers. Hidden Paradise is also home to many other organizations in Idaho that serve people with physical, medical, mental and emotional challenges.
CAMP HIDDEN PARADISE HEALTHY SPACES
