The Problem
Indoor Air Pollution(IAP) is a serious threat to human health and causes millions of deaths each year. The rapid increase in the affects from climate change such as increased frequency in wildfires and other natural disasters in addition to emissions from factories and vehicles are reducing our air quality in large proportions each year making it more important than ever to develop and implement products to help purify our air. It is crucial to create a large emphasis on Indoor Air Quality(IAQ) as Americans on average spend 90% of their time indoors where the concentration of pollutants is often 2 to 5 times higher than outdoor concentrations.
About our Indoor Air Quality Advisory Program
Trevor’s Trek will work with vulnerable community spaces across the country to improve overall health and safety through actionable clean air strategies and community-wide education for an end-to-end improvement approach. This will be achieved through a collaboration with Timilon Corporation and the utilization of their Enviroklenz Mobile Air Units to provide indoor air quality monitoring and risk assessment and the installation of supplemental filtration equipment and optimizations of long-term data analysis. Enviroklenz mobile air units are uniquely qualified to effectively and efficiently purify indoor air as they are equipped with a level 13 HEPA filter, a patented metal oxide filter which unlike a traditional carbon filter not only traps airborne contaminants but neutralizes them, and two UV bulbs added for increase protection and sterilization.
